Christmas Time

I haven't been able to post much too much to do. I have made a few Chriatmas cards and here it is December 15th and I am still not ready. Gifts are bought, cookies are made, but not one card has been mailed. I will get there the cards may be late but hey I'm doing the best I can. Right now it's time to make a card for a very good friend so off I go.

Holiday Workshop Day 1

My attempt at this card which seemed so easy wasn't. Trying to place the snowflakes was a bit of a challenge for someone who strives for perfection. I did have fun and did learn a new technique.

Holiday Card Workshop Day 4

Happy Friday spending time with Angie as we tackle day 4 of our Holiday Card Workshop. This card was fun to do using our Copic markers of many colors. Looks simple and done with just layering cardstock and pop-ups. This will make a nice card to send to someone at Christmas with many more to make. Looking forward to the weekend to make other cards from the workshop. I still have so much to learn and with Angie's help I'm getting there. The card workshop helps me put
so many cards together with step by step instructions.

Holiday Card Workshop Day 1

I just took my very first Holiday Card Workshop. I love that I can go at my own pace and I can watch the video first and then I can try to create the card by going back and listening  to the class again and the neat thing is I can pause it until I'm ready for the next step.

I made my first card which was 3x3 card with coloring but I didn't color the card I just used a sentiment instead of a picture. I can now make another one with a picture and color it at my own pace. The second card was a larger card but I'm not sure of the size I will have to improvise on this card because I don't have all the materials. I have some idea of what I might be able to do since I don't have the art tape which is removeable.

This is so much fun I can't wait to get started on the next card.

My First Blog

This is my first blog and without the help of my very good friend Angie none of this would be possible. I plan to learn as much as I can and put my thoughts and crafts in this very first blog. It takes me a long time to get started but once I understand the concept I try to give it my all. Meet my silly husband Peter he is such a good man and loving husband especially to put up  with me.

Meet my son Dan and our dog Cookie who is a hand full she is quite fiesty and loves
to play every chance she gets. She is very loving and smart.
