Birthday Wishes

This card was made many months ago and because I could not figure out how to get to my blog I let my frustration hold me back but no more cause now I'm on a roll.

 So here was a simple card I layered it and use a stamp of tiny paw prints for a friend of mine. She has two little white yappy dogs that she adores.

Hand Colored Christmas Balls

I have wanted to make these colorful Christmas balls for three years and I finally got around to doing it. This is so easy all you need are balls LOL and some paint you pour and shake. Now these are the small balls the larger ones are a work in progress. You need a lot of paint I am using Creamcoat and I mix up the colors. You can twirl the paint or you can shake the ball just be careful to cover the hole at the top and mix it up. I then take a paper cup and turn the ball upside down so the excess paint can drain out. It's that easy.......Now off to make some new balls........I love saying balls....

 

There I did it again another successful download................... I think I will quit while I'm ahead. Oh this is so much fun.................

Halloween Cards

It has been awhile since I made cards with my wonderful friend Angie and as she likes to say "we got inky" yesterday it was very spur of the moment she not only shares her heart with me but all her supplies with me. We had the best times and she showed me some new techniques. So here are some cards we made yesterday but I can't post one cause well it's a secret and will be posted later.

Well I'm very proud of myself haven't uploaded a picture since last year thank goodness for Angie making me my recipes of step to step instructions helps me. Time to color and make more cards.

Organizing Where Do You Begin

As I sit in my craft room and look around I think to myself this room is too small then I think you have to work with what you have. So how can I make this room more user friendly and think try to put the things you use the most within reach ok I've already done that.

Then I think you must do something with ALL THIS PAPER put it in some kind of order but it's all so overwhelming where do I even begin so I walk away and say tomorrow is another day.......... I must go look and see what kind of ideas I can steal from others. I know I must go and read my good friend Angie's blog she has been doing this for a very long time and she has given so much to me which I am FOREVER GRATEFUL..... so off I go.....

Back Again

I'm back and so excited that it didn't take me 3 hours of frustration  going back and forth to figure out how to sign back in so here I am once again.....success YAY ME

I'm excited I signed up for a Holiday Card Class and thank goodness for my good friend Angie who gets me motivated to create cards. I have made a few birthday cards the last few months which I will post over the weekend. You see I have a full time job that gets in the way of the things I really want to do. I think its time to retiree but I can't yet soon but not yet. Time for me to tool around and see what buttons I can push.

After trial and error and finally taking the time to figure out how to get from one place to another
without getting frustrated I may be on to something here. I can only hope, my girlfriend Angie has much patients with me even when I ask the same question over and over she summed it up perfectly for me I need to use a recipe which gives step by step directions just like cooking and you know it works for me. I need more time for me and I need to spend more time with her.

I haven't had much time for card making as I have been learning to crochet. Today I decide to spend some time in my craft room organizing and getting ready for the holidays. So on that note it's time for me to move on with the rest of the organizing....wish me luck.
